We can all learn from the happiness and joy that a creative short poem or poetry can bring us.
The Best Poetry Network accepts poetry submissions of al genres and formats. We accept manuscripts across all genres, with or without an agent, from anywhere in the world. Whether you are a new author or have been previously published, Austin Macauley Publishers™ would like to hear from you. The review process can take up to three weeks. We will contact you once a decision has been reached.

What to include in your best poetry submission
All Best Poetry submissions must be preceded by official registration with Best Poetry Netsork. No poetry submissions or applications accepted without first having registered.

Types of Poetry and Graphics Not Accepted
We do not accept excessive obscenity, words identified with perversity, or nude graphical displays. We encourage intelligent and dignified poetry that can be read at family dinner table or in front of audience of educators and esteemed guests.
Best Poetry also cannot consider anything that has been previously published or accepted for publication, anywhere, in any form.
Poetry work or creative writing that has appeared online is considered to have been previously published and should not be submitted.
What kind of work is Best Poetry looking for?
The Best Poetry Network is looking for original works written in the English language, or translations of poetry into English, that have not been published before.
If you are a Platinum membership member, we also provide critical and individual reviews of your written works. Due to the volume of free submissions received and the small size of our Best Poetry staff dedicated to free submission, we do not provide individual reviews and feedback to non-members.
Does Best Poetry Network pay money?
Subject to your Best Poetry Network membership level, we also pay for original works, and creative submitted poetry. Payment is made on publication at the rate of $12 per line (with a minimum payment of $350). $175 per page of prose, for first serial rights. All rights will revert to the poetry writer upon publication.
How do I submit my work to Best Poetry Network
All submissions must be digital, and online. No paper submissions are accepted. Only poets and writers registered with Best Poetry Network are allowed to submit creative works.
Once you have submitted your work, you can check the status of your submission by signing into your Member account.
What file types does Best Poetry Network accept?
Best Poetry accepts poetry submissions in any of the following formats only:
- Word document (.doc) files
- Rich Text Format (.rtf) files
- Text (.txt) files
- Portable Document Format (.pdf) files
- Audio formats. .mp3, .wav, and Audio Interchange File Format (AIFF).
- Graphics Poetry (.jpg) files
- Video formats. MP4, MPEG4,AVI,WMV,WebM.
Limit on Free Best Poetry Submissions
Free Best Poetry Submissions are limited to 1 poem and should not exceed 2 pages. Free Best Poetry submissions may only be submitted in textual format (No audio, no video, no graphics).
Please include all poet/writer contact info on the first page of the submitted file.
When does Best Poetry Network Accept Submissions
We accept free poetry submissions from September 1st to November 25th, of each year.We accept Best Poetry from members all year round, 24 by 7.
Please do not make multiple submissions. Instead, please wait for a response to your first submission before sending a second or third submission, or new work.
When does Best Poetry Network Respond to Submissions
How soon can I expect to hear from Best Poetry Network about my submission?
The response time for free submissions ranges from 8 weeks to 3 months.
The response time for Newbies rangees from 6 to 8 weeks. While the response time for Bronze or Silver Best Poetry members ranges from 4 to 6 weeks.
The response time for Platinum members ranges from 1 week to 14 days.
